For two and a half weeks in July, Product Manager, Electro Optic/Infrared Payloads continued its office’s ongoing community service effort, with a volunteer School Supply Drive, to support the American Legion Post 364 in Woodbridge, Va. Lt. Col. Kecia M. Troy, the Product Manager for EO/IR, said the volunteers collected more than 1,100 school supply items, which will be donated to support the Prince William County School District.

“This is the second year EO/IR has supported this drive. Last year, we collected just over 830 items - this year we increased that total by almost 300,” Troy said. “In the coming weeks, the donated school supplies will be packed into book bags and given to children across the district, as they begin their school year. With these donations, students will be equipped with the tools they need to be successful this next school year. This event is part of PdM EO/IR’s commitment to serve the greater Northern Virginia community.”
