Planning a wedding reception, retirement, birthday party or other celebration?
If so, Taste of Belvoir is an ideal way to see the best of what’s available at the Fort Belvoir Officers’ Club.
Make it a Date
“It’s great for future brides and grooms and their parents; planners and administrative staff,” said Trinetta Bowen-McClelland, the club’s catering director. “Taste of Belvoir is also ideal for date night.”
The event is March 29, starting at 7 p.m., with hors d’oeuvres, dancing, a DJ and giveaways. “We love giving away things,” she said.
In addition to a buffet dinner, Taste of Belvoir will have wine tastings and a cash bar.
The buffet will feature some of the club’s most-popular items, including baked salmon, chicken and sliced beef tenderloin; freshly-baked desserts and gourmet popcorn.
“We want to show you what we can to with amazing cuisine for your event,” Bowen-McClelland said.
Great Rooms/New Upgrades
The variety of rooms at the O’ Club can accommodate events of up to 600 people, when taller, social tables are used, she said.
“We can design our rooms any way you want to make your visit and your event special,” she added.
Additionally, Taste of Belvoir is a chance for club visitors to see some refurbishments, including new carpet and chandeliers, and a new entryway.
With the O’ Club’s wedding and reception planning, Bowen-McClelland said about future brides, “When they are here, they are my daughters, it seems, getting married. That’s how they feel, to us. We just enhance the dreams they have of their wedding.”
Taste of Belvoir tickets are $30 per person and must be reserved through the O’ Club by calling 703-780-0930.
