OCAR forward, David Haigler, goes up for the score inside.

Office of the Chief Army Reserve and 1st Capabilities Integration Group squared off in one of the lowest scoring, defense-heavy intramural basketball showdowns of the season, Jan. 8 at Wells Field House. The intense contest kept spectators glued to their seats for the duration, with OCAR finally taking the lead with a free throw from Andre Ansley with two seconds remaining on the game clock to put a hard-won 27 - 25 victory in the week-6 books.

Intramural basketball games are played Tuesdays and Wednesdays through Feb. 20, with the season culminating in a single-elimination championship tournament between the 10 top-seeded teams.
